Sealy Elite Brokerage Invitational at Cherokee Town & Country Club

Atlanta, GA — Sealy & Company recently concluded its 4th Annual Elite Brokerage Invitational, an exclusive golf tournament bringing together top industrial real estate brokers from across the Southeast. Held at the prestigious Cherokee Town & Country Club, one of Atlanta’s most storied private courses, the event provided a unique and engaging platform for relationship building, strategic discussions, and community impact.

Designed as both a high-level networking event and a celebration of shared success, the Invitational hosted premier brokers representing Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Louisiana. Participants enjoyed a full day of world-class golf on Cherokee’s scenic fairways, with curated groupings that fostered meaningful conversations, strengthened market alliances, and opened the door to new off-market sourcing opportunities.

At the end of the day, real estate is a relationship business and the brokers who join us for this event are more than just dealmakers, they’re trusted partners.  The Invitational is our way of saying thank you and creating the kind of environment where friendships, ideas, and great deals are all given room to grow.” said John A. Nida, Sr. Regional Director – Investment Services at Sealy & Company.

A central pillar of the Invitational is its philanthropic mission. Each year, Sealy & Company awards a $5,000 charitable donation to an organization selected by the tournament’s winning team. This year’s victors—Jason Gandy, Jim Freeman, Bobby Norwood, and Frank Bazzel Jr.—chose to support the Kyle Pease Foundation, a nonprofit that empowers individuals with disabilities through sports and community engagement.

Founded in 2011, the Kyle Pease Foundation promotes inclusion by enabling athletes with disabilities to participate in endurance events such as marathons and triathlons. The foundation’s work aligns closely with Sealy & Company’s values of empowerment, teamwork, and giving back.

Sealy & Company’s commitment to relationship-driven investing has long been a cornerstone of its strategy in core Southeast markets. The Invitational is a key part of that approach—fostering trust, sharing intelligence, and unlocking hard-to-find, off-market opportunities that benefit from direct broker collaboration.

“Some of our best acquisitions start with a handshake and a conversation,” Nida added. “This event gives us a rare chance to engage brokers outside the traditional office setting, understand their unique market insights, and discuss deals before they ever hit the market.”

As the Invitational continues to grow in stature, so does its impact—on communities, clients, and the future of industrial real estate in the Southeast.
